New Bow+Arrow Options!

Happy Saturday!
I had blueberry/almond pancakes for breakfast + an iced mocha for an afternoon snack + it's game night tonight with some of my very very favorite people.
I hope yours is a good one too :)
I just wanted to pop in to share some new options in the Bow+Arrow etsy shop.

First off you can now get THREE 8x10 prints for $40!
They're $15 each folks, so that's a deal.

Also, you can now choose to get any print in the shop as a 5x7 for only $9.
Hooray for tiny prints!
But why get one 5x7 when you can get THREE 5x7s for only $25?
Perfect little gifts :)

There you have it.
Big thanks to my girl, Carina, for the fabulous graphics!
We've both got new prints coming soon so stay tuned.

Black Friday yo.

Hey, there. I'm going to let ya in on a big ol' secret.
I hate Black Friday.
No wait, it's not a secret at all.
I just hate it. It is so stressful!
I mean people seriously die. About electronics, ya know? So so sad.
Anyway, I like it alright if I can do it from the safety of my home & the warmth of my covers... at a normal human time.
None of this 3 am.
What is wrong with you people?
Ok, all I'm trying to say is this Friday (11/23) and all weekend through Cyber Monday (11/26) I'm giving you a free card for every $10 you spend.

Go ahead, spend $100. I'll send you TEN free cards with you order.
You're welcome.
Also thank you. $100 is a lot of cards, friend.
All you need to do is leave me a note with your order & tell me the card your heart desires!

Holla.

Also I finally have Christmas cards.
I mean, Christmas card. Just one.
It's all I could manage. But at least it's cute right? :)
And it's a bundle deal! 4 cards for $12 which, technically speaking is a 25% discount.

Well, alright.
There's my exciting news for your Monday morning.
I'm thankful for all ya'll & I'm thankful for internet shopping.
Happy Shopping!

Christmas Shopping

I'm still not quite ready to join the rest of the world on the "it's the most wonderful time of the year" train.
I mean it just got cold.
And I'm still really excited about pumpkin baking & Thanksgiving dinner next week.
Buuuuut... that doesn't mean I haven't done any thinking about Christmas gifts.

For Milo: Fancy bow-tie from Little Blue Feathers of course!

I mean, I can't think of a single reason not to have that.
Oh except for Milo hates when we dress him up...
Well, Milo the pug has a good life: Free rent, free food, naps all day & infinity hugs from Lily Belle.
He can wear a bow-tie for our enjoyment.

For Lily: A custom flapper baby doll a la Aubrey Plays.

I've been loving these sweet dolls for a long time & I think Christmas is the perfect time to splurge.
You send in a favorite outfit your babe has outgrown & she makes you a custom doll.
Precious! And don't worry if you have a boy there are "little dudes" too ;)

And for moi: Cutie turban ear warmer by Salt City Designs.

Now that my hair is super short, I can't really wear a warm hat without looking like a boy (aka exactly like all 3 of my brothers).
In related news, now that my hair is super short my ears get really really cold without a hat!
Enter this knit (crochet?) beauty.
Warm, stylin' & girly :)

Where are you shopping this year?
Don't forget to check out Handmade with a Purpose for wonderful gifts that give back.

(Once again I'm partying in Erika & Beth for Friday Faves & Finds.)

Buy Handmade!

A couple months ago I made some amazing handmade jewelry purchases.
They arrived quickly and packaged to perfection.
I busted them both out and started rocking them immediately.
And then I decided I should share them with the rest of you.
So I tried really hard to take some decent pictures... the bad new is, I failed.
I just can't seem to take a semi-decent photo of myself. (Fashion bloggers, I applaud you.)
The good news is I'm sharing anyway because I want you to know about these lovey shops (and the beautiful women behind them!)

wifey singer
(Cutest earrings brought to you by Wifey Singer.)
See what I mean?
Cheesy grin + thumbs up = perfection... right?
You totally want to buy whatever I'm selling... right?!
Doesn't matter. Just check out Hannah's shop or her darling blog.
You'll probably get super excited and give dorky thumbs up too.
Or maybe you're way cooler than me.
In which case, thanks for taking the time from your way cool life to read my blog.

carinalee
(Sweetest necklace by Lovely Little Whimsy.)

This one's a bit better, but mostly just because Lily's in it and she's quite comfortable with the camera.
Try not to be too distracted by that sweet mug (or the scrap fabric I like to call a headband on particularly rough hairdays).
Focus on the cute little copper necklace.
That, my friends is more than just a really cute necklace.
It's one step closer to a new baby for Carina's family!!
You can read all about their adoption on her blog or you can buy beautiful accessories in her shop.
I choose both, but it's totally your call.

So there you have it.
Two more reasons to buy handmade and two more reasons why I take pictures of baked goods instead myself in great outfits.

(I'm linking with Erika today. Becuase she's great too!)

February 14th

How do you feel about Valentine's Day?
Is it sweet & fun?
Or just commercialism at its finest?

I find myself right in the middle.
I love love & any reason to celebrate it!

But I like it in a "bake cupcakes for someone you love and snuggle up" kind of way.
(You know, versus "buy me expensive jewelry and flowers or we're in a big fight".)

I do have a few new love themed gifts in the shop that I'm pretty excited about!
Like these pretty little cupcake flags.

Or brand new DIY Cupcakes for Two!
You just add a couple ingredients and in a few minutes you've got 2 pretty cupcakes..... one for you and one for your honey :) Or one great big cupcakes if you like to share.
(Or if you like to eat great big cupcakes, cause that's how I roll.)

They're all up in the Sugar Mama Bakeshop etsy shop.
Perfect little looooooove gifts......
Whether you're into Valentine's Day or not, everyone loves cupcakes and love.
Am I right?

(ps. I'm in love with these new pictures so I'm sharing them at lifemadelovelymonday & sweetshottuesday)
